Welcome to 5grace.com’s Privacy Policy! We care deeply about your privacy and are fully committed to protect your private information and use it properly in compliance with Data Privacy Law.

Please note that if you enlist any of our services at Five Grace Church, both parties may enter into a separate agreement that will govern the processing of all information and data collected by our Church in connection with the service, including some data collected through our website. Such agreement takes precedence over any conflicting provision in this Privacy Policy.

The types of personal data that Five Grace Church collects may include your name, residential address, work address, e-mail address, telephone number, mobile phone number, date of birth, gender, names and ages of children, employment details, nationality, race, identity card number, marital status, and other information necessary to fulfil special requests (e.g. emergency contact information).

Five Grace Church may also collect non-personally identifiable information about you, such as your use of its Platforms, internet protocol addresses, browser and computer system information, cookies, invisible pixels, web beacons, and aggregated data related to your use of its Platforms.

When you email Five Grace Church with personal data for the purpose of receiving any form of assistance from Five Grace Church, you agree to allow Five Grace Church to collect, use and/or disclose such personal data to facilitate the provision of such assistance to you.

  4. Purpose for collection, use and disclosure

  1. providing services to you as a member/attendee of Five Grace Church;

  2. sending activation, confirmation, acknowledgement or reminder emails in relation to your general use of any account you have on any of the Platforms;

  3. sending you invitations to church-wide events;

  4. enabling you to access or use the Platforms;

  5. identification, verification and authentication purposes;

  6. allowing you to join a care group or ministry;

  7. sharing your testimonies;

  8. allowing you to manage team members and care group members, and submit attendance information (for church leaders and volunteers);

  9. allowing you to register or RSVP for events (for church leaders and volunteers);

  10. processing and responding to queries or requests (including but not limited to prayer and counselling requests) submitted by you;

  11. processing applications submitted by you;

  12. sending you marketing emails to events for targeted groups;

  13. sending you notification emails concerning road closures on service days or change in service venues/times;

  14. sending you notification SMSes regarding road closures on service days, changes in service venues/times, and/or booking confirmations;

  15. sending you mail to the postal address provided by you;

  16. statistical analysis;

  17. tax filing and gift-aid preparations;

  18. processing credit notes and processing refunds;

  19. collection of fees, charges, and expenses for services provided;

  20. facilitating the making and payment of claims, including payments by cheque, bank transfer or other means;

  21. carrying out billing, accounting, auditing and the maintenance of proper book-keeping for Five Grace Church’s Charity operations; and/or

  22. the disclosure of the relevant books, documents, records and information (in hard or soft copy) to the auditors for the preparation of financial reports; and

  23. fulfilling any other reasonable purpose which may, in the ultimate discretion of Five Grace Church, be necessary.​​​​​​

  5. Disclosure

Personal data collected may be shared with third parties (e.g. vendors) in the following circumstances:

  1. when Five Grace Church has received your consent to do so;

  2. in situations where sharing or disclosing your information is required in order to offer you products or services you desire;

  3. when it is necessary to disclose such information to Five Grace Church’s professional advisers (including without limitation our lawyers, accountants and auditors);

  4. when companies or service providers that perform business activities on behalf of Five Grace Church (e.g. credit card processing, customer support, online ticketing and registration, and online marketing services) require such information;

  5. to comply with legal or regulatory requirements or obligations in accordance with applicable law; and

  6. in cases of emergency where disclosure is required to safeguard the life or health of an individual.

Examples of third parties include but are not limited to:

  1. Five Grace Church’s SMS notification service provider;

  2. Five Grace Church’s technical helpline service provider (external call centre);

  3. online ticketing and registration service providers;

  4. online marketing service providers; and

  5. payment gateway service providers.

Five Grace Church will use its best endeavours to ensure that your personal data is protected by such third parties.

If information is shared as mentioned above, Five Grace Church will seek to limit the scope of information that is furnished to the amount necessary for the performance of the specific function. Unless otherwise precluded by legal process, Five Grace Church requires third parties to protect your personal information and abide by applicable privacy laws and regulations.

  6. Consent

You may decline any or all of Five Grace Church’s email and SMS communications by opting out of any subscription database or contacting the church directly at hello@5Grace.com.

By entering personal data into the Platforms, you are deemed to have consented to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes stated above. You are also deemed to have consented to the collection, use and disclosure of any other personal data that is volunteered to Five Grace Church, whether via the Platforms or otherwise.

You may withdraw your consent to Five Grace Church using or disclosing your personal data except where (1) such use or disclosure is required by law, (2) on national/public interest grounds, (3) the personal data in question was collected from publicly available sources or (4) such use or disclosure is necessary in an emergency where the life or health of a person is at risk.

You may withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data at any time. However, this may impact your user experience on the Platforms, as the majority of the services provided rely on the collection, use or disclosure of such information.

   7. Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites run by other organisations. This privacy policy applies only to our website‚ so we encourage you to read the privacy statements on the other websites you visit. We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other sites even if you access them using links from our website.

In addition, if you linked to our website from a third-party site, we cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of the owners and operators of that third party site and recommend that you check the policy of that third party site.

  8. Website forms

Any forms which are available on our website are powered by wix.com also bound by the EU General Data Protection Regulations. 

Wix.com Ltd. is based in Israel, which is considered by the European Commission to be offering an adequate level of protection for the Personal Information of EU Member State residents.

When you fill out a form, the data that you submit will be forwarded to wix.com and will be collated into an email and sent to us.

The data that you submit via the form will not be stored within this website’s own database or in any of our internal computer systems.

Your data will remain within Wix’s secure database for as long as we continue to use Wix’s services or until you specifically request removal by emailing us.

We consider Wix.com to be a third party data processor.

Therefore, Five Grace Church cannot accept responsibility for, warranty or guarantee the security of information you send to or receive from Five Grace Church over the Internet. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Five Grace Church disclaims any responsibility or liability for any claim, damage or loss connected to the loss of or unauthorized use of personal data, whether by unauthorized access to the server or files or otherwise.

  14. Changes to our privacy policy

This privacy policy may change from time to time in line with legislation or industry developments. We will not explicitly inform our members or website users of these changes. Instead, we recommend that you check this page occasionally for any policy changes.
